  • Published Accomplish the Difficult Mission: A Guidance for Curricula Reform.
  • Held study groups throughout Taiwan and shared experiences of “Fragrance of Books: Reading Literacy of Millennium Children.”
  • Established the Teaching Backup Center to provide and exchange the teaching materials and skills.
  • Developed 25 professional workshops, including “Organization and Managing of High School and Occupational Schools Teachers’ Associations”, “Training of Instructors of New Curricula”, “Training of Cadres of National Environment Center”, and “The Development of Policy in Education”.
  • Accomplished the project: Study on the Educational Administrative Affairs of Public Education.
  • Accomplished the report on teachers’ satisfaction.
  • Founded the POWER Teacher Awards, Published Stories of the Winner and held forums for sharing experiences and facilitating inspirational changes.
  • Held coordination meeting for junior college admission selection schedule to rectify the remissness in multi-route admission program.
  • Held 15 Seminars on “Campus Human Rights Index.”
  • Held annual forum on development of high schools and vocational schools.
  • Held annual “NTA Core Officers Finance Seminar”, “Teachers’ Act and Teachers’ Association Seminar”, “NTA Organizational Development and Education Policy Seminar”, and “POWER Teachers’ Forum.”
  • Successfully pressured the Ministry of Education to fund the elementary and junior high school teachers to prepare self-initiated compilation of teaching materials as professional enhancement. 
  • Worked with 1111 Manpower Bank to survey the mindset index of teachers. 
  • Held press conference to express concern over issues entitled “Campus empire endangered human rights” and “School principal selection process going backward, then where is teacher’s prestige?”
  • Held the press conference on “A question for our succeeding ministers of education: Has the nine-year integrated program already been given up?” Under government’s efforts for the integrated program, teacher’s workload increased, student’s learning hours dropped, teacher’s working hours increased, while mentoring time for the students decreased. NTA went on to deliver a petition to the Ministry of Education.
  • Held the appeal and counseling meeting.
